  • What is the Advisory Panel?

    The advisory panel was founded in 1995 and consists of a group of individuals located worldwide who have agreed to give their opinions on a variety of topics, ranging from social and healthcare issues to fashion and food. You will be notified by email about surveys you can take.

  • Who can join the Advisory Panel?

    Everyone can join the panel. We welcome men and women, teenagers and kids in any country of the world. The only requirements are access to e-mail and the web and the ability to correspond in English. (We will include other languages in the future.)

  • How many prizes are awarded?

    We randomly award 10 prizes of $5 to $100, depending on the type of survey. Only those who complete the urvey are eligible for awards.

  • How are prize winners chosen?

    Prize winners are chosen from among those who respond by the deadline for a given topic, usually one week from the time it is sent out. All prizes are chosen randomly from among those responding.

  • Since I haven't given you my address, how do I get my award?

    Winners are notified by e-mail. All prizes are to winners via PayPal or a check by mail.

  • How are the questions selected?

    Some questions are based on issues of the day, some come from panel members, but most are submitted by our clients.

  • How do I join?

    You must complete a background questionnaire in order to become a member of the panel. A web questionnaire is located at:

  • Who/what is Impulse Research?

    We are a public opinion research firm with both US and International interests. Impulse Research has research experience in a variety of fields, including public policy/social issues, consumer products, entertainment, health care, technology and the Internet. Impulse Research was founded in 1976 and is based in Los Angeles, California, USA.
